Applicants should have:At least 2 years experience in the industry with an emphasis in Group 3 mobility technologies.

Excellent self-management and time-management skills, including goal-setting and strategic planning.

Knowledge of and willingness to comply with regulatory standards for the industry.

Maintenance of accreditation and certification with NRRTS and RESNA.

Power Mobility and Medical Equipment Repair Technician –  July, 2016


Gateway Medical Equipment is seeking an honest, hard-working, dedicated individual for the role of Power Mobility and Medical Equipment Repair Technician.

Candidates should be able to diagnose problems and make repairs to DC electrical systems and simple mechanical devices, possess excellent customer service skills and be able to prioritize, schedule and manage their own time.

Description of Duties: The repair technician conducts diagnostics and repairs on and off site as needed. The technician schedules services in coordination with customer service staff, evaluates equipment, gets quotes for replacement parts, provides customer service staff with quotes for necessary parts and labor, and executes repairs after authorization from customer service staff.

Additional Duties: Repair technicians may be required to assist with deliveries, equipment cleaning, facilities maintenance, or other tasks at the discretion of management.

Benefits and Compensation: This is a full-time position with benefits. Hourly pay starts at $16. Gateway Medical Equipment provides health, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, as well as paid on the job training and certification.
